The Helsinki is a robust semi-softboot speed skate, offering a fine balance between stability and flexibility. The outer shells around the ankle, heel, and toe cap are made of strong plastic (PE) that can take a hit. The skate provides substantial support for the ankle and heel while also protecting the toes.
The boot is a combination of durable polyamide ripstop and imitation leather sections. It is soft and comfortable on the inside, thanks to high-density foam, and is equipped with warm Thinsulate® lining. The boot is also extra comfortable due to its anatomically shaped footbed.
These are high blades. With high blades, you stand a few centimeters higher on the ice than with low blades. High blades are highly suitable for high speed and prevent your shoe from touching the ice in a curve. Perfect for a fast lap on the ice rink or just a quick skate on natural ice. These skates have a high shoe design, providing a bit more ankle stability.
The skates feature a two-sided quick closure, Velcro strap, and lace-up closure, allowing you to fully customize the fit to your preference. These skates run small; we recommend purchasing one size larger than your usual shoe size.
The stainless steel blades are pre-sharpened.
