The Nijdam Longboard – Echo Coco is a drop-through longboard, where the trucks are mounted through the board on top of the deck instead of underneath, as with a normal longboard or skateboard. This design prevents ‘wheelbite’: when you’re descending a slope at higher speeds and making a turn, the board won’t make contact with the wheels.
This longboard has a flat deck (flat concave) that ensures good balance. The low positioning of the wheels provides extra stability and better equilibrium. Perfect for endless cruising and a lot of longboard fun!
It’s crafted from 9-layer maple wood with a spray-on grip layer on top for solid traction. The board length is approximately 91 cm (36 inches).
Now for the technical specs: the skateboard features heavy-duty longboard trucks with high rebound PU cushioning, making them extremely sturdy and stable. The wheels are cast in high rebound PU, which wear less quickly than rubber or plastic wheels and offer ample grip, especially at higher speeds. The enclosed ABEC 7 carbon bearings are high-quality and perfect for outdoor use.
